PixelBay Agency is a small, independent Yorkshire studio trading since 1999 - 25+ years, 200+ sites built and 100+ apps and tools, plus our own brands. Clients deal directly with the people building their site - no account managers and no passing clients around. PixelBay Agency is unrelated to Pixabay, the stock photo website.

## Our brands - one business
PixelShop (pixelshop.uk) and PixelCRM (pixelcrm.uk) are PixelBay Agency's own brands. They are owned, built, hosted, supported and maintained by PixelBay Agency - the same people, the same business, the same terms. They are not separate companies, resellers or third parties. Support for all of them is at https://support.pixelbay.uk/, and enquiries and sign-ups from all three sites go to PixelBay.

## What we do
- Build: business websites, online shops, custom web apps and tools, and WordPress / WooCommerce work. Custom PHP is what we recommend; we also build and support WordPress and WooCommerce, including custom mu-plugins.
- Manage: UK hosting on our own infrastructure, SSL, daily backups, updates, security, monitoring and a developer on tap. Site rescue for broken, hacked or abandoned sites.

## Two ways to work with us (all brands)
- Monthly plans (licensed): Pay Monthly websites from £75 a month, PixelShop from £150 a month, PixelCRM Business CRM from £75 a month and Venue CRM from £125 a month. Every price is a starting price and each project is quoted. Licensed to the client's business while the plan is active - rented, never sold, and the licence never turns into ownership. Most plans have little or nothing upfront; some (such as bigger shops or moving an existing site across) may have a one-off setup fee, which keeps the monthly lower and never buys the software. PixelCRM usually has no setup fee. Includes UK hosting, SSL, daily backups, updates and support. Paid a month in advance by standing order, set up before launch; the monthly fee starts on the 1st of the month after going live. No minimum term, no exit fee - 30 days' notice to leave.
- Buying outright: custom builds (websites, shops, CRMs and apps), and PixelShop bought outright without a licence. Usually one fixed price, quoted first, paid before it goes live or in stages. Once paid, the bespoke work is the client's - host it anywhere, no further fees. PixelBay's own reusable code inside it (platforms, admin systems, modules, calculators) stays PixelBay's and can be used as part of that build for the client's own business with no licence fee; it is never to be copied or resold. Hosting, support and maintenance can be added monthly.
- Data: always the client's. On PixelShop and PixelCRM, clients export their own data from their admin at any time and download their automatic daily backups. On Pay Monthly websites, PixelBay gives clients their content and data when they ask.
- Leaving a monthly plan: PixelShop and PixelCRM are licensed software and stop when the licence ends. A Pay Monthly website built on a third-party theme (such as a WordPress theme) can go as it is; a custom-built one can move at PixelBay's discretion, free or for a charge agreed at the time. There is no buy-out and no "free after X years"; to own it, buy it outright.
- Missed payments: PixelBay sends reminders and talks to the client first, and reserves the right to set a site to read-only after the final reminder until it's sorted.
- Business clients only, set up or built to order, so no consumer cooling-off period. England and Wales law.
