What's included in your managed website hosting?
UK hosting on our own infrastructure, SSL, daily backups, a staging environment, updates and maintenance, security and uptime monitoring, unlimited email hosting on your domain, and direct access to the developers who know your site. Nothing held back, and nothing added later without you agreeing it first.
Is management included with Pay Monthly?
Yes. Every Pay Monthly site includes hosting, updates, security, backups, changes and support from the team that built it. It's all in the one monthly fee, from £100 a month, with no minimum term. See pricing for how it works.
I bought my site outright. Can you still look after it?
Yes. If your site was bought outright, you can add PixelCare as a monthly add-on and we'll host and look after it just like a Pay Monthly site. It's quoted upfront based on your site, and the site stays yours outright.
Do you offer a website support retainer without hosting?
Sometimes a site needs to stay where it is. In that case we can be your developer on call for a monthly retainer, handling updates, fixes and changes wherever it lives. Our full PixelCare service runs best on our own hosting, because then we can take complete responsibility for it.
Can you manage a WordPress or WooCommerce site?
Yes. We look after WordPress and WooCommerce sites as well as custom PHP and PixelShop. Updates to core, themes and plugins are tested on staging first, so they don't take your site down. See our WordPress and WooCommerce page.
Can I move my existing site onto your hosting?
Possibly - we assess first. We take full responsibility for everything on our infrastructure, so we're selective. If your site is in good shape we'll migrate it and manage it properly. If it's struggling, our site rescue service can fix it first, and we'll always tell you honestly what we find.
How quickly do you respond?
Site down or an emergency, WhatsApp us and we aim to respond within the hour during business hours. Something broken gets sorted the same day, content changes within one working day, and bigger jobs are scoped within a day or two. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.
What if I want to move my site away?
That's always your choice. If you bought your site outright, it's yours and we'll help you move it properly. On Pay Monthly: No minimum term - just give 30 days' notice. We hand over a full export of your content and data, and point your domain wherever you need it. The site itself is licensed while you're on the plan and stays ours. Want to take it with you? Talk to us first - a site built on a third-party theme, such as a WordPress theme, can go with you as it is, and anything else is by agreement. No exit fees, and we never hold anyone hostage.
